COVID-19 MORTGAGE ASSISTANCE
If you are a Cross County Savings Bank customer that is experiencing a financial hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and are unable to make your mortgage payments, you can request assistance by selecting the Start Application button below. You will be required to complete a COVID-19 Mortgage Assistance Application and submit it as instructed in the application. If you need help completing this application or are unable to submit it by e-mail, fax or mail, please contact our Loan Department at (718) 326-6300 and we will help you complete and submit the application by telephone.
What assistance is offered to those who qualify?
If you're experiencing a financial hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, you may be able to defer your loan payments for up to 90 days.
How it works
With a deferral, you will not be required to make your loan payments until the deferral period ends. After the deferral period ends, you resume making your loan payments, and the term of your loan will be extended up to three (3) months.
If approved for COVID-19 mortgage assistance, all borrowers will be required to sign a COVID-19 Deferral Agreement. The COVID-19 Deferral Agreement will contain all of the details relating to the mortgage assistance that is provided. You should review the COVID-19 Deferral Agreement with your counsel, accountant, financial planner and/or other competent professional.
