If you are a Cross County Savings Bank customer that is experiencing a financial hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and are unable to make your mortgage payments, you can request mortgage assistance by visiting the COVID-19 Mortgage Assistance webpage. If you need help completing this application or are unable to submit it by e-mail, fax or mail, please contact our Loan Department at (718) 326-6300 and we will help you complete and submit the application by telephone.

We remain committed to doing everything we can to meet your needs during these challenging times.
In response to the hardship that you may be encountering as a result of COVID-19, we are waiving the following fees for our consumer and business customers:
- Overdraft Fees
- Insufficient Funds Fee
- Overdraft Protection Transfer Fee
- Early Certificate of Deposit ("CD") Withdrawal Fee
- Out-of-Network \ Foreign ATM Transaction Fee*
- Mortgage Late Payment Charges
In addition, we are increasing the daily limit on consumer mobile deposits to $2,500.00.
These changes are effective immediately and will remain in effect until further notice.
*Fees from other financial institutions may still apply. Waiver applies to Cross County Savings Bank customers only.

During these challenging times, we remain focused on the safety of our employees, customers and community, while ensuring that our banking operations remain available. We want to assure you that we are closely monitoring, on a continuing basis, current events and receiving updates from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and other industry-specific resources to guide us in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic.
Currently, all of our branches remain open. Please visit crosscounty.com to view current hours of operation for each branch. We are continuing to conduct enhanced and thorough cleaning and sanitizing of all bank facilities, including ATM screens and keypads. In addition, following the recommendations of the health organizations and governmental authorities, we are reducing the branch staff to essential employees in order to promote social distancing.
This is an ever-changing situation. As different challenges arise, we are prepared to respond to them. We have been existence for more than 130 years and faced many challenging times. During these years, we have developed comprehensive plans and strategies to meet emerging challenges.
Over the years, we have made significant investments in technologies that allow you to bank virtually from anywhere and at any time. Even though our branches remain open, you should know that most of your transactions can be completed without ever visiting a branch. If you have not already done so, please take advantage of the following solutions:
Consumer Online Banking
- Access and manage all of your accounts, check your balances, access eStatements, transfer funds, make payments etc. from your computer.
Business Online Banking
- Access and manage all of your accounts, check your balances, access eStatements, transfer funds, make payments etc., as well as wire funds and originate ACH transactions from your computer.
Mobile Banking (Consumers & Business)
- Perform banking transactions remotely using a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet.
Mobile Deposit (Consumers)
- Take a picture of your check and remotely deposit it into your consumer account from anywhere and at any time.
Instant-Issue Visa® Debit Cards
- Access your accounts from any ATM or make purchases online or at a retail location anywhere Visa® is accepted.
We are prepared to support those of you who may be facing a financial hardship or loss of income as a result of Covid-19. We have decided to temporarily suspend all fee increases that were scheduled to take effect on April 13, 2020. Please disregard these increases until further notice to you.

There is no higher priority to our Cross County Savings Bank family than the safety of our customers and employees. With the onset of COVID-19, we want to assure you that the Bank is closely monitoring current events and receiving updates from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and other industry-specific resources to guide us in dealing with this pandemic.
According to the most recent information obtained from the CDC, the exposure to COVID-19 and other illnesses can be significantly reduced when simple and practical guidelines are followed. Our employees and business partners are being kept informed and being encouraged to follow those guidelines to maintain a safe environment in all our branches and administration facilities.
We advise that Cross County Savings Bank is closely monitoring this developing situation, and will continue to do so while remaining in regular contact with State and Federal agencies, health organizations and other experts.
